Associate Consultants

Due to consistent demand from our customer base, we are always on the look-out for high quality Associate Consultants who may be able to assist us in supporting existing customers through the delivery of training courses, day-to-day on-site mentoring and project delivery. The provision of this consultancy is seen as critical to the successful implementation of Select’s products within projects, and as such the consultant’s experience, knowledge and the ability to pass this to project team members and the management team is pivotal.

Skills Required

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role
  • Sharp and adaptable individual
  • Ability to work under pressure as an individual & as part of a team
  • Ability to present to large numbers of people
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within an organization, i.e. Developers, Architects and Managers/Executives to Board level
  • Experience of the use of UML, Case Tools, Software Process Templates and Patterns in projects
  • Extensive Project Experience in the IT industry, working on OO/CBD projects utilizing UML techniques and iterative/incremental delivery

Skills Desired

  • Experience in software development processes
  • Design/development using UML and associated technologies
  • Experience in programming using Java or Microsoft IDEs
  • Experience of distributed/client-server platforms and technologies
