E-mail

BOULDER, Colorado, 19 June, 2002: Aonix, a member of the Gores Technology Group and a leading provider of systems design solutions, today announced the availability of their new product Select Component Architect.

Select Component Architect is the first technology that combines the capability of existing design solutions (such as UML) with the powerful capabilities of a Component-Based Development (CBD) approach.

Today, developers using Select Component Architect will be able to architect, design and develop component-based applications in an environment that endorses the seamless reuse and assembly of components. Select Component Architect is ideally suited to organizations that are developing Web Services and Web-Based Applications (in environments such as IBM WebSphere or Microsoft.NET) as it encourages the “Plug and Play” of developed components within the application reducing development timescales and increasing effectiveness.

Ashley Abdo, CEO Aonix explains “Select Component Architect is a groundbreaking new product release for Aonix and offers the most significant addition to the Select Component Factory suite for some 2 years. We are confident our customers will be excited by the new and extended functionality with the product”.
