UltraQuest Applications provides for the integration of the mainframe and the Web. Through a host-based Web Server and our application server, enabling of mainframe applications for the Web is fast, simple, and cost effective. UltraQuest's two-tier solution supports CA's VM:Webgateway, Velocity Software's ESAWEB Web Server, IBM's HTTP Server (z/OS) and Select's ICOM Server under z/OS. The Durable Server Facility, a configurable resource manager to accommodate high volume traffic and reduce the cost of mainframe resources, manages pools of permanently active applications servers, under native z/OS, to significantly reduce CGI overhead.
