Based on an XML repository, Select Process Director provides a proven set of best practices that enable lifecycle management for the development process. Select Process Director also includes Select Perspective™, a contemporary component-based development (CBD) approach for delivering next-generation applications.

The Browser allows developers to view and navigate all of the defined processes while they complete daily tasks. This capability helps them understand what to do, how to do it, who should be involved and what tools to use.

Select Process Director: Heads Up Display (HUD)
To make the development process highly available, HUD provides a task list (based upon the project plan) for each developer. The current task appears at the top of the display, with hot-links to the relevant information in the Browser. In addition to helping developers track their tasks and progress, the HUD provides mentoring, within the context of their daily work.
