Boulder, Colo. - August 14, 2001 - Aonix, a member of the Gores Technology Group, announced today the latest release of its Select Component Factory (v2.2) model-driven tool-set, featuring component-based design (CBD) capabilities for IBM’s WebSphere*. Leveraging IBM WebSphere, Component Factory will provide customers with a scalable development solution for designing and deploying enterprise applications.

The Select Component Factory integration with WebSphere is designed to provide developers with integrated visual modeling, component deployment management and a relevant CBD design process. The functionality gives software developers a unique yet pragmatic solution to help increase the quality and productivity of WebSphere application development and deployment.

Aonix’s Select Component Factory comprises Select Enterprise: a UML, component-based, data and business process modeling tool; Select Component Manager: a multi-user, repository-based design, management and search facility for components; Select Reviewer; an automated design review tool, and model/code synchronizers: JSync Enterprise Language Pack for Java(TM). Other non-IBM WebSphere Enterprise Language Packs are also available.
