Automate your design reviews with Reviewer for
Rose™ v2.0 the newly upgraded UML Management Reporting Tool
Reviewer for Rose gives you everything you need to
measure the quality of your designs, identify design faults and fix them,
quickly and easily.
Boulder, Colorado, April 10, 2003 — Select Business Solutions™,
Inc a Gores Technology Group operating company, today announced the
release of Reviewer for
Rose v2.0. This new release represents a significant upgrade to the
software functionality and usability for companies using Rational Rose.

quick and easy resolution of design shortfalls ultimately enabling the

addition of over 20 new built in reviews which will further empower our
users to fully understand and implement a better software design.”
Reviewer for Rose now has over 80 configurable
reviews which give you:
- Management information about any design deficiencies and
the completeness of your models
- Detailed errors and warnings, making it the "spell-checker" for design
- Descriptions for errors, the consequences of not correcting them and
design patterns for correction
- Customizable Design standards, which can be configured in an HTML
document for internal publication and access.
Some of the major new reviews include:
- Cyclic dependency reviews
- View option reviews (to help enforce color schemes)
- Language reviews
- Sub unit reviews.
Additional Reviewer for Rose features include:
Immediate progress reporting for each review (on screen) as the review is
performed. Exported HTML reports now contain relative paths enabling files
to be relocated after exporting. Reviewer for Rose analyzes .mdls and has
now been extended to include all of the sub .cats files as well.
