Select extends support for Microsoft® .Net™
BOULDER, Colorado 9 July 2003 — Today Select Business Solutions
announced the release of Select Component Factory™ version 4.4. This
release comes only months after the release of the new Select Component
Factory products Select UDDI Server™, Select XMISync™ and Select ORSync™.
Select Component Factory 4.4 extends Select’s support for the Microsoft
.NET platform to include a new Microsoft Visual Basic™ synchronizer. “We
are committed to developing our solutions in support of the Microsoft .NET

Business Solutions. “We now have seemless integration with all of the
Microsoft Visual Studio™.NET Developer IDEs through Select Component
Architect™, Select Component Manager™ and Select C#Sync™” Continues

Select Component Factory version 4.4 includes:
Select VBSync™
Select VBSync provides all the roundtrip engineering features needed to
difference and synchronize UML models and Microsoft VB programs. It runs
directly within Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, accessing Select's
multi-user UML repository, providing unparalleled levels of performance,
whatever the model size, from one to hundreds of users.
Select VBSync includes:
- Visually difference model and Code
- Browse UML designs and Requirements as you develop Microsoft Visual
Basic code, right within Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
- Selectively synchronize your business requirement directly with
Microsoft Visual Basic code, without leaving Microsoft Visual Studio .NET

undocumented applications

Select JSync™
IBM® WebSphere® Studio Application Developer (WSAD) Integration
Select JSync’s integration with IBM® WebSphere® Studio Application
Developer (WSAD) and the generic Eclipse IDE makes it easier for
developers to access the Select JSync functionality when they are writing
Java in WSAD. This integration is similar to the functionality provided by
the Select JSync's current Borland® JBuilder™ integration.
Select Component Manager™
Select Component Manager has been improved significantly to include:
- Typedef support to enable information to be passed
between the component suppliers and consumers, improving consistency and
reducing the amount of re-keying.
- Publication from Select Component Architect™ into Select Component
Manager including associated type sub-structure
- Regeneration of type structure when reused from Select Component
Architect into Select Component Manager Basic visibility of TypeDef types
within Select Component Manager User Interface
