It provides a scheme for developing, managing, and communicating business plans in an organized, business-oriented manner. |

Business Motivation Diagrams allow business plans to be represented graphically, using
- Visions, Goals, and Objectives to represent what an enterprise would like to achieve,
- Missions, Strategies, and Tactics to illustrate what the enterprise will do to achieve these ends.
- Assessments identify the Influencers that may assist or hinder the enterprise’s operations and what the Potential Impacts could be.
- Business Policies and Business Rules represent the directives the enterprise has in place to keep its operations ‘on track’.
- Business Processes realize Courses of Action (i.e. Strategies and Tactics).

Backups
Have you actually checked that your repository backups are actually working ?
If you assume that file system backups are sufficient, then you may be risking your valuable IP. We provide a template script for making repository backups using the Enabler facilities, but this needs to be scheduled. Pasting Diagrams
Did you know that you can paste a diagram or portion of a diagram from Select Architect into Word and other applications using Paste Special ?
Select a diagram,or some elements of a diagram and choose Copy, then when you choose Paste Special in Word you will be given the option to paste as text or as a picture. |
