Components or software assets are described and stored as products, using
the ComponentSource Reusable Component Specification (RCS). The RCS
meta-data is made available to users via a series of defined API calls
using SOAP and is distributed in XML format. As a result SAVE-IT CATALOG
can be integrated into existing development environments, or internal
