Version 7.50 is a major release for NOMAD, with new features to support
e-business applications, enhancements to the language and functions, and support for

LIST now produces XML and HTML output for display
through Web browsers. This capability, originally introduced for UltraQuest, is

hierarchically structured XML output for interoperability and data exchange with
other applications. |

Java Interface |

NOMAD under OS/390 can now call Java programs and

Remote servers for EMAIL |

The EMAIL command, under OS/390, can be
configured to access an external email server, eliminating the need to enable
the OS/390 SMTP server. |

Today's CALL and PROC commands pass arguments by
