At Select, the migration to using Business-driven Development techniques
for Software Development, using Select Solution Factory can be supported by our Professional
Services Group. Using a model based approach to Business-aligned IT
Solution Development - standard modeling notations such as BPMN, UML and
ER focus the practitioner on the clear and unambiguous description of the

This program guides the practitioner in the effective use of Select
Solution Factory which supports all notations within a single
environment. It provides a Fast track progression guiding the practitioner
in tool usage, notation, techniques and process towards the successful
adoption of model based development.
Solution Elements
The solution encompasses “just in time” training on the techniques and
tools required to implement Business-driven lifecycle development,
followed by a “Process Miniature” that covers all stages of a project’s
lifecycle based upon a specific customer project scenario. This is
followed by a variable level of consultancy to ensure that the best
practices and “lessons learned” are embedded within the organization.
