OMG MDA FastStart Program

What is MDA FastStart?

MDA FastStart is a unique program managed by the OMG to help information technology (IT) organizations learn about Model Driven Architecture - MDA - and rapidly apply it to their systems architecture, systems integration and software development activities. MDA FastStart is the quickest way to learn how to use and leverage MDA, and you don’t have to be an OMG member to take advantage of this program.

Why MDA?

As you may already know, MDA is a comprehensive set of standards developed by the OMG to extend its Unified Modeling Language - UML - the world’s most popular software modeling standard. Both UML and MDA are already being used extensively by IT organizations worldwide in a wide variety of industries including government, military, aerospace, telecom, transportation, financial services, healthcare and manufacturing.

Whether you are already using UML, or just thinking about getting into it, MDA FastStart can help your IT organization learn the best way to apply UML with MDA to significantly reduce costs and improve time-to-market for many kinds of IT projects and initiatives, including:
