UltraQuest
Applications and RP/Web provide for
the integration of the mainframe and the Web. Through a host-based Web Server
and our application server, enabling of mainframe applications for the Web is
fast, simple, and cost effective. UltraQuest's two-tier solution supports
Sterling Software's VM:Webgateway, EnterpriseWeb/MVS and EnterpriseWeb/VM from
Beyond Software Inc., as well as IBM's WebSphere for OS/390 (formerly ICSS). The
Durable Server Facility, a configurable resource manager to accommodate high
volume traffic and reduce the cost of mainframe resources, manages pools of
permanently active applications servers, under native OS/390, to significantly
reduce CGI overhead.
