Business Model-Motivation
Zachman
Definition
"Business Plan"
This
is a model of the business objectives and strategies (the "ends" and
"means") of the Enterprise
that constitute the motivation behind Enterprise
operations and decisions.
Although there has been considerable focus on management theory in
academia, there is no commonly accepted notation for the motivation
concepts at the present time.
Select Perspective
As explained in
the Scope-Motivation cell, the
Select Perspective is driven from Organization Vision
Statement.
In that cell, the
Business Objectives and Strategies were modelled as Requirements; for this
cell those Requirements may be added to, sub-requirements and Dependant
Requirements formed to show the "ends" and "means".
Select Solution Factory
Use the Requirements section of
the dictionary tab and the Relationships tab in Select Architect
to document the Business Objectives and
Strategies as Requirements, sub-Requirements and Dependant Requirements in
the Enterprise model.
As can bee seen, if any items that implement these
objectives and strategies are already known, they too
can be modelled.
