Select Perspective The Select Perspective for projects is driven from the Organization Vision Statement from which come the Business Objectives and Strategy; both are pre-requisites to enable project scope to be defined. Select Perspective gives support for achieving the Business Objectives and Strategies in that it recommends using Facilitated Workshop techniques whenever and wherever possible. Select Solution Factory Use the Requirements section of the dictionary tab and the Relationships tab in Select Architect to document the Business Objectives in the Enterprise model.
The requirements can be linked dierctly with any other electronic documentation via the File References of it's Associated Items property. These requirements can be copied using Select Model Copy to project models and decomposed to the project requirements (or enabling objectives) which can then be linked to all other project artefacts, Thus, traceability can be maintained from Business Objective to the lowest-level project artefact including source code when using the Select Synchronizers and Select Asset Manager. |
