System Model-People

Zachman Definition

"Human Interface Architecture"

This is the logical "systems" expression of work flow which would include the specification of the "roles" of the responsible parties including management, administration, knowledge-worker, engineering, marketing, etc. as well as the logical specification of the work products like, voice, text, graphics, video, etc.

Select Perspective

This model is basically the same as that in the Business-People cell but with added detail.  Using the Select Perspective this detail would normally be captured as part of a project and would need to be added to the Enterprise model, probably as part of the Consume/Solution Rollout Phase of the Supply, Manage and Consume (SMaC) Service and Component Based Development model.

In Select Perspective it is advised that Actor descriptions ("roles") are kept to the minimum because they are usually described in detail elsewhere.  This model is the 'elsewhere'; therefore, you cannot rely on projects gathering all the information required for this Zachman cell.

Select Solution Factory

Add the required detail to the Properties for the Actors and Workflow Products Requirements either from the Dictionary or the Relationships tabs in Select Architect Enterprise model; items can be linked to external electronic documents via the Properties/Associated Items tab:
